Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is a Nostalgic Beat ‘em Up on PC and Console

A wise man once said – ‘Go go, Power Rangers’. And go, go they went, blasting off across the world, taking down all manner of foes in their way, and converting millions into Power Rangers fans. 

It doesn’t seem like the iconic team are stopping anytime soon, as the latest video game to get the Power Rangers treatment is that of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind. Read on to find out more regarding this new action-packed side-scrolling beat ‘em up!

A Time-Bending Adventure

Now available on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is a love-letter to old-school beat ‘em ups like Streets of Rage and Double Dragon. 

The iconically evil villain Robo Rita has figured out a way to travel back in time and team up with her younger self in order to put a stop to our colourful team.

In order to halt Robo Rita in her tracks, you’ll fight through a variety of colourful levels as you relive the origins of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, meeting a crew of iconic heroes, as well as taking down some fan-favourite foes from the years the TV show has been going for. In fact, developers Digital Eclipse have remixed some famous events that Power Rangers fans will be familiar with – fan service at its finest!

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind Description

In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, the team faces off against a robotic reincarnation of the Power Rangers’ long-time nemesis. Robo Rita has conjured a portal to send herself back in time so she can finally vanquish the Power Rangers by forming an alliance with her younger self. Working together, Robo Rita and Rita Repulsa rewind, rewrite, and remix the past in an attempt to stop the very formation of the Power Rangers, altering the course of history.

Will the two Ritas and their army of monstrous enemies from across the MMPR timeline finally succeed in destroying the Power Rangers? Or will these teenagers with attitude learn to work together and counter this catastrophic chronological collaboration?
